record the number of hits in your learning log, and compare to your first search. What differences did you notice? Why? Which search, on first glance gave you the most promising results?
Ok so i figure i may have to use that dodgy program lets double check its really not a fishing site...
"A few days ago, I installed Copernic Browser Advisor, a tool to filter searches and make them more relevant. It appears to perform that task well, but I also discovered that it is creating large log files of my seach data and storing it in .ctb files. I contacted their support to ask the purpose of the data, and advised them since it did not seem meaningful to me, I intended to delete it. They did not answer my question as to usage, but asked me NOT to delete it, as they use it. Would you think that is it some sort of spy or adware? Should I keep the program, and ditch the .ctb files, or remove it all? tc"

I mean i dont mind my searches being scanned, but allowing someone to archive all your files on your pc, including emails, journal, video audio,, not for your use but for someone elce to have easy acess to? i mean webcams and mices in mobile phones can be hacked and used so i no pc's can as well but GIVING them free acess is giving up...
next thing they will be saying scanning technology to scann all your files for virus's and spyware needs to be upgraded with scanning for thought crime texts passages or recordings...
That was ment to be a joke, altho something tells me its not going to be funny to a lot of people soon as they become powerless from their ignorance of allowing it to happen...
Its easy to find files using a search command, why dose one need to have a programing archiving it for you? how will linking your emails to your search engine help you find your emails in some place other than where your other emails are? their is no common sence reason to give a 3rd party total unrestricted acess to your computer unless you day dream every day of living in george orwells 1984?
